Do you have questions about our custom Amish built cabinets and how we do business in Powell, Ohio? Here are some of the most frequently asked questions we get from our customers. Still have questions? No problem, get in touch with us today so we can get them answered and help you on your path to your dream cabinets…
It’s difficult to answer the “cost” question, because it’s much like buying a car – there are many different options from which to choose. The final price for your new kitchen cabinets will depend upon whether you chose more of a “standard” model or one with a great deal of options. Furthermore, wood choices, the size of your kitchen and the additional features you choose will be the three things that influence cost the most.
From the time you approve the final plans, you can expect the process to take approximately eight weeks. Once we’re ready to install your custom home cabinets, it only takes a day or two. The design/approval process should be figured in to your total turnaround time. With that in mind, if you are working with a builder or architect, it’s best to involve High Point Cabinets as early as possible in the process, so we can make sure we have your cabinets included in the construction schedule.
Technically speaking, there’s no restrictions on where we can provide our services. We’ve shipped custom kitchen cabinets nationwide. Generally speaking, we work within Ohio, West Virginia, and Western Pennsylvania.
(Please note that if we do not install your cabinets, our guarantee would apply only to materials and workmanship on the cabinets themselves, and not the installation.)
Yes! High Point Cabinets is not a “big box” cabinet manufacturer. All cabinets are Amish built custom jobs. From the measuring, design and blueprint stages to the construction and installation, your cabinets are built one at a time – specifically for your home. We do not have custom home cabinets in stock; each job is completed one at a time. In addition, High Point Cabinets uses only the best materials. We do not take shortcuts at any stage. Sometimes, this means we won’t have the lowest price. But we honestly believe we’ll always provide the highest-quality cabinets.
Yes! A great deal of our work is in new construction. If you are remodeling, we also can work with your contractor.
We strongly discourage anyone but the most experienced DIYers from tackling these things. In addition, we cannot guarantee any portion of the job we don’t perform.
These are furniture-grade cabinets, and should be treated the same as you would any other high-quality hardwood furniture. For the most part, using a slightly damp, lint-free rag (and drying with a lint-free rag) will do the job. If you want to take it a step further, we recommend the “Heirloom Essentials” cleaning/polish products from Woodright, a manufacturer of stains that now also creates their own wood cleaning products.
Don’t just take our word for it, though, popular home improvement gurus “Matt and Shari” also recommend Heirloom Essentials. See their review HERE.
