When you invest in custom cabinetry, you aren’t just buying storage for your kitchen or bathroom; you’re investing in the future of your home. At High Point Cabinets, we believe that the beauty of Amish craftsmanship should be matched by the strength of its protection.
That is why we don’t just offer a verbal “handshake” agreement—we provide a Written 10-Year Warranty that stands as our promise to you. Here is a detailed breakdown of how we protect your investment through our materials, workmanship, and service.
1. Protection for Premium Materials
A cabinet is only as strong as the wood and hardware that form its foundation. Our warranty covers the high-quality materials we source specifically for their durability and longevity.
- Solid Wood & Furniture-Grade Plywood: Unlike the particle board often found in big-box stores, we utilize 3/4″ plywood boxes and premium U.S.-sourced hardwoods like Oak, Cherry, and Maple. Our warranty ensures that these structural components will remain stable and reliable.
- Gold-Standard Hardware: We use industry-leading hardware, including Blum soft-close hinges and undermount drawer slides. If a hinge or slide fails to perform its silent, smooth motion due to a material defect, our warranty has you covered.
2. The Mark of Master Workmanship
Our cabinets are built in the heart of Ohio’s Amish Country, where “good enough” isn’t in our vocabulary. The High Point 10-Year Warranty is a testament to the precision of our builders.
- Dovetail Joinery: We specialize in the “gold standard” of drawer construction—the dovetail joint. These interlocking pieces provide a mechanical lock that resists the daily wear and tear of opening and closing. We guarantee the integrity of our joinery for a full decade.
- Precision Engineering: From the initial CAD drawings to the final assembly, our workmanship is held to rigorous standards. If a structural defect arises from the way your cabinets were built, we will restore them to their original condition.
3. A Finish That Withstands Time
A kitchen is a high-traffic environment subject to heat, moisture, and frequent cleaning. Our multi-step finishing process—which includes hand-sanding, deep staining, and protective topcoats—is designed to look as good in year ten as it did on day one.
While our warranty excludes “normal wear and tear” (the natural aging that happens with decades of love), it protects against defects in the application of the finish itself. We want your cabinets to remain the centerpiece of your home, and we stand behind the chemistry and craft of our coatings.
4. The “Turnkey” Advantage: Installation Coverage
One unique aspect of the High Point promise is that the same team that designs and builds your cabinets also installs them. When we handle the installation, our 10-year warranty extends to the fit and function of the cabinets in your space. This means no finger-pointing between a manufacturer and a third-party contractor. We take full responsibility for the project from the first measurement to the final screw.
(Note: If you choose to have a third-party install your cabinets, our warranty still covers the materials and workmanship of the cabinetry itself, but cannot extend to installation-related issues.)
5. No Limit on Excellence
Perhaps the most important part of our written warranty is our commitment to “make it right.” During the 10-year period, there is no limit on the number of times we will address a legitimate warranty claim. If your cabinetry requires repair or replacement due to a defect covered by our promise, our team will handle it with the same care and precision we used on the day they were first built.
